The Job

Depending on the results of your interviews, you will be working in a team as either a sales consultant or on the candidate delivery team. The methodology of working is slightly different, but the skills and qualities necessary to succeed are the same, as are the potential rewards. You will be given an industry sector to develop and will receive whatever training is necessary to help you be successful. As a sales consultant you will be responsible for developing new business with clients as well as maintaining existing relationships. Working on the Resource Delivery team your remit is to work closely with the sales division, providing them with a shortlist of pre-qualified, pre-screened candidates that match our client's requirements.

Skills

The work is mainly telephone based, so you should have a clear confident manner sell the company and yourself above other recruitment firms. You must also be able to build trusting relationships with customers.

Other responsibilities include pre-screening CV's, organising interviews and writing advertising copy for the trade print and on-line media. Recruitment is a sales role so you must be self-motivated and be prepared to give whatever it takes to achieve the best results and rewards. You will have strong persuasion skills and a highly competitive attitude. Previous recruitment experience is not necessary as a comprehensive training programme is provided. However, some sales experience would be an advantage.
